Great Game |
I am a The Sims fan, but i did get bored of the pc version for a short while. At first i was unsure of whether or not i should get this game, but i am glad i did. This game is an excellent new version of the sims and makes a welcome change to the Sim gameplay. In this game you have to complete missions in order to progress through the game, you first start off by living in a barn and eventually move up into a posh Villa. You are no longer stuck at your home, you even get to own a scooter in order for you travel around the Town. You have three seperate save files on the GBA version. The only drawback is the fact you can only have one sim per family (you cant have say three people) and you have no free play like in the pc version (where you could just play for fun). Once you have completed the missions you have completed the game which means the game might be short depending on how quickly you progress. All in all a good game, i would recommend this only for the bigger The Sims fans

A must for Sims fans |
As a huge fan of The Sims on the PC, I was delighted when this version became available. Unlike on the PC, you play with only one person; there are no other family members. There are no job restrictions (you wont get sacked if you dont turn up for two days), but there are several jobs that your sim can do as and when you wish them to earn money, which are like mini-games within the game. You can also earn money by collecting certain objects to be recycled or helping out other residents of Sim Valley. Again, like the PC version, you have to meet their needs for hunger, hygiene and social etc, but this time you actually have specific challenges to complete. Each challenge has 3-4 goals thst need to be completed such as improving skills (like in the PC version), building relationships with a specified sim or finding certain objects. Improving skills also helps you get promoted within the job games. As you complete a certain number of challenges, you get to move to a new, bigger house each time. The main difference between this game and the PC version is the fact that it can be completed and there is not a free-play version that you can do. However the numerous challenges and goals keep you occupied for hours (it can be addictive - as all the best games are!). I am relatively new to hand held gaming, but I think even die-hards will find something appealing in Bustin Out. However if your thing is racing or shooting games, then you may find this game is not for you.

Loving it! |

I must say, I am a massive fan of The Sims, its a fantastic idea bringing the popular hit to the palm of our hands on the Gameboy Advance. In The Sims Bustin Out, you are basically on a quest to work your way up the career path and on to Paradise island! The new features include, brand new two player mode connecting to another GBA with a GBA Link Cable, unlocking mini games when the GBA is connected to a Gamecube,26 exclusive locations,8 new career mini games, new characters, over 150 items to trade and collect.Your sim can be downloaded onto your Gamecube so skills can be improved and simoleons be made. But the best bit of the game is the classic and original, you control the life of your created sim! Personally, I cant possibly wait for this release, it is a huge different world to the PC Sim games.
